Splash Blankets come in 7 styles, each with a temperature factor from 1 (coolest) to 5 (warmest):

1️⃣ Cooling Waterproof Blanket – Ultra-breathable & moisture-wicking.
2️⃣ Bamboujee Sheets – Lightweight, silky, and naturally cool.
3️⃣ The Snuggle & Double Veluxe – Cosy but not too warm.
4️⃣ Furlush – Soft, plush, and warm.
5️⃣ OG & Minky – The warmest, with micro-velvet & sherpa fleece.

Each blanket has an internally bonded waterproof layer made from 100% recycled Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) - a non-toxic, BPA-free, food-safe material. The blanket absorbs liquid without soaking through, on both sides. 

Each blanket can hold up to 1 litre of liquid while keeping your surface underneath completely 100% dry.

Lifespan depends on care & washing frequency, but most remain waterproof for 1+ years with proper care. Some of our original 2020 blankets are still going strong!

Absolutely! They’re perfect for puppies, kittens, incontinence, post-bath snuggles, and travel. Just watch out for sharp claws, as they may pierce the waterproof layer.

Like most synthetic fabrics, microplastics can be released over time. To minimize this, we offer 95% Bamboojee sheets as a more eco-friendly option. The TPU waterproof layer is made from 100% recycled, non-toxic materials and securely bonded inside the blanket to reduce shedding.

While we make every effort to display colours accurately on our website, slight variations may occur due to different screen settings and lighting conditions. 

Yes! We have a range of fabrics to suit sensory styles. Our Bamboujee sheets are especially great for sensitive skin, sensory issues, or texture preferences, as they’re silky smooth, lightweight, and hypoallergenic. Our Furlush is ultra smooth and best for those who don’t like the texture of sherpa fleece. 

You can fold it up and store it like any other blanket. If you need a compact option our blankets come with a waterproof carry bag for easy storage and travel. Since it doesn’t look like waterproof blanket you can also display it on your bed or couch like a throw - no one will know!

Yes! Splash Blanket is perfect for camping, van life, and outdoor adventures. It's waterproof, easy to clean, and keeps moisture from seeping through to the ground. We find sticks and leaves can get caught in the sherpa fleece so recommend any of our other styles besides the OG for camping and outdoors activities. 

Unlike the alternatives, Splash Blankets are plush, soft, and ultra-absorbent - no uncomfortable crinkling or sticky plastic vibe. Plus, we continuously innovate to bring you a wide range of high quality materials, styles, and sizes.

Wash separately on a cold or warm fast-spin cycle (max 30°C). Avoid using a delicate cycle, as it doesn’t remove water effectively. Wash your splash blankets like you would wash your towels and sheets - with an extra spin to release moisture. For heavy stains i.e blood or wine, pre-treat with stain remover before washing. Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, or vinegar.

Line dry or tumble dry on low heat for a maximum of 30 minutes. Overheating can melt the waterproof layer, making the blanket crunchy and ineffective. Avoid ironing or dry cleaning.

Since Splash Blankets absorb bodily fluids, oils & lubricants, odors may linger if not washed thoroughly. For odor removal, try:

1. Wash with extra detergent & a longer spin cycle.
2. Add a tablespoon of bicarb.
3. Use warm (not boiling hot) water to kill bacteria.
4. Dry in the sun or tumble dry on low heat.

Large and Jumbo blankets take longer to dry - if damp too long, they may develop a musty smell. If needed, wash & dry at a laundromat with bigger machines available. 

**Hot tip: Having multiple smaller blankets makes washing & drying much easier!

Some sound is normal due to the waterproof TPU layer. If it’s crunchy, it may have been overheated in the dryer. The blanket will likely still be waterproof but may feel stiffer. Our bamboujee or OG style is the most quiet if you’re sensitive to sound.
